The new smartcard that is needed in the future can be connected in the FPS-10 / FPS-11, and also in any normal external smartcard reader. So combination FLS-4/4s and smartcard is possible and maybe also needed.
And indeed: it would be very nice to get rid of the email ASK / RPL process via such a way.
The major question is: what is the first model that needs the FPS-10 / FPS-11 and cannot work with the older DCT4 service tools?
The FPS-11 is only now released to let have the bigger service centers a better flash possibility for the current models: 8 indepentdent DCT4 models on 1 PC, a major change for example in comparision with the FPS-8C.
