im having problems with i5 & rsim8 so i decided to change rsim8 and activate it ( just for testing purposes ) .

when i went to patch a brand new rsim8 it didnt ask me for activation code , it just patched it . how come ?

i tried patching it again today and log below ...

now i dont get why do we need to install this China unicom APN profile , im not in china & the APN settings dont match my country's APN . any1 can shed some light on this ?

& why does it say supported client 3.0.0.0 when im using 3.0.1.0

Current Client Version:3.0.1.0 , Supported Client Version: 3.0.0.0
