There are various reasons why we do forget iPhone lock screen passcode. Here is a great tool for unlocking iPhone password now matter how we get the screen unlocked - using ApowerUnlock.

Basically, from the word itself, ApowerUnlock is a handy tool that you can rely on to unlock an iPhone when you forgot iPhone passcode. With it, you can unlock iPhone in just a few steps using a PC. Here is how.

Install ApowerUnlock on your PC and launch it afterwards.
Connect your iPhone to your PC using a lightning cable.
On your computer, click “Unlock Screen”. Then check the attention tips, and then click “Start”.
Once your iPhone is detected, select the firmware that supports your iPhone then click “Start Downloading”.
After downloading the firmware, click “Start unpacking”, then click “Start unlocking” once done unpacking to successfully unlock your iPhone screen.

Note: Make sure to keep your iPhone connected your PC and not to use your iPhone while making this process.

Sorry but I don't undersatnd the utility of this sw.
I read that with this sw I can remove the passcode but with DATA LOSS? Now what is the difference between this software and itunes in Dfu mode ?
The other function to remobe APPLE ID is not clear ... Please explain in you hare more detais.

Oh yes, it also supports unlocking Apple ID, but it only works on iOS devices running iOS 11.4 and previous version. On your iPhone/iPad running iOS version older than iOS 11.4, just connect your device to PC, and follow the displayed steps on the program, and go to “Settings” > “General” > “Reset”, select “Reset All Settings”. Then tap “Reset All Settings” to confirm. Then ApowerUnlock will start to unlock your iOS Apple ID.

Please note that it does not work on iOS 11.4 and later version.

Until now, nothing new.
You can flash with iTunes and you will have no passcode (but you must do the activation again).

So you don't need this sw, anyway.

The evaluation I learned is that ApowerUnlock is not easy to use. RecoveryTool iPhone Unlocker is more cost-effective.
