Member: 248030 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 29 | Iphone 7/8 home button IC.. I've searched a bit around, but not able to get 100% certain answer... While replacing screen on an ip 7, I did the big blunder and chopped a little corner piece of the ic on the flex... I've seen quite a few videos of technicians replacing this ic chip, but never get any clarity wether this will give you a working home button function and touch id... I was pretty sure that the ic was paired with the logic board... Am I right? |
