Well it's just to make easier the process, 'cause until now it's very easy to bypass google account on xiaomi devices. Worth to save 10 euros per device.
Hope in the near future you can find a permanet solution for Mi account remove.

FRP means FACTOY RESET PROTECTION, Mi account it's a way of factory reset protection. So it's OK to ask.
