A lot of customers thought they got problems. And after they try to fix it patiently. Normally they could finger the issue out and work it out themselves.

Long time to doubt ,we thought you also already fixed it out. If not yet,please tell us right now on which step you have the new issue. Or it is the same issue?

Hello,

Regarding the message:

Firmware password = [UNKNOWN TYPE]

And seeing the model A1534 EU ( from where you saved the backup), we think this macbook air is with T2 security chip and at this moment we do not support unlocking of the T2 chip computers. Your file was already sent to the dev team, who analyze it already.

We put the ticket to update the HDBOX manager to detect this T2 macs and report them as T2. This update is already in private testing, public release later this month (prob Monday, 27-April-2020).

The work went slower thanks to current situation. Appreciate your understanding in this matter.
