Hello,

Seeing this bit in your log:

[06:04:19] -> Verifying data finished. Stats:
[06:04:19] -> Read : 8388608 bytes, 0 sector retrys, 0 total retrys

Tells me that the connection between HDBOX and your Mac Chip is GOOD, but the content inside the chip is NOT THAT good.

Please PM us your computer Serial Number. We are gonna search a very close donor file for your computer, and prepare it for you. After you receveive it you have to write that one to your mac, and after that perform an NVRAM/PRAM reset. All Should Be working perfectly.

-Or- If you have an working backup of the chip content also write that back, the mac should start. Right now it cannot start cause the image inside your computers chip is not good. We are gonna fix that!

Best Regards,
HDBOX Support Team.

Hello,

I have sent you an PM with link to download the file prepared for your mac.

The file you will write to your mac SPI, and your SN should remain same, but no more iCloud / firmware password on it. After flash please consider performing an NVRAM / PRAM reset ( and maybe even an SMC reset - required only in very rare cases )

https://www.macworld.com/article/288...m-and-smc.html

And to flash this file,
1-simply open HDBOX Manager like before, connect to chip, and click detect ID couple of times to make sure communication is stable,
2-Click open file, select the file,
3-Click Write Spi (FULL) for full erase and write,
4-There is no 4! just reset the mac, now should be working, and if not, do the NVRAM/PRAM reset.

If still not work we will search another donor file, but this one was from same EMC with your computer, so should be working 100%.

Best regards
HDBOX Support Team.

Ok,

Two things:
1) Did you perform the NVRAM/PRAM reset?
2) The light on charger, is it Amber , and switching to Green when fully charger? ( This will confirm the SMC is alright )
