hello boss,
if i wrong pls correction about SPI flashing ,

In a computer, a serial peripheral interface (SPI) is an interface that enables the serial (one bit at a time) exchange of data between two devices, one called a master and the other called a slave . An SPI operates in full duplex mode. This means that data can be transferred in both directions at the same time.

and EFI

The Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) is a specification that defines a software interface between an operating system and platform firmware. ... In 2005, UEFI deprecated EFI 1.10 (the final release of EFI). The Unified EFI Forum is the industry body that manages the UEFI specification

its working only EMMC OR NAND ? pls if details , better for us.

thanks,
with best regards and wishes,
mahir

Dear Sir,

Thanks for your question! It will help others to understand the forensic tool better. Below is our reply to all you doubt.
we are refering to the SPI flashing for the mac computers. Using SPI flashing, we can read the information from the BIOS/UEFI chip and using our forensic algorithms we can see if the EFI firmware password is set, if computer is linked to an iCloud account ( and soon we will be able to display this account ), and also see if the icloud lock is activated ( already we can detect if it is 4 or 6 digit codes ).

And depending on the combinations of computer model, OS updates, EFI updates, etc we can EVEN show directly the EFI Firmware password, and show directly the iCloud Lock unlocking code.

For selected chips ( we are working in expanding the list) we can also directly removed/disable this locks, but we focused more on retriving them, instead of just nuking them, because retriving them and doing no changes to the content on the computer is a GREAT tool for forensinc investigations.

And for normal users, our SPI flashing tool, can help them fix certain problems of their apple computers, by updating / fixing Intel Management Engine, among this problems are computers stuck at boot, or they just keep playing the chime sound and reboot again, or starting slow. This is not a silver bullet for all problems of all apple computers, but for this specific things, is the best tool.

Thanks & Best Regards!

all this functions required the efi chip to be removed from board or we can do it using specific connector ? and do you have links on tutorials?

We are working on implementing voltage regulators in our adaptors so there will be no need to desolder and solder back the chip, and besides some new macs got BGA chips... And those are extremly hard to service, so our focus as thia noment is safety while using our adaptor.

Of course,Ofc, if the mac got soic 8 chip then is easy to solder/desolder, and if the chip operates at 3.3 v, we can use normal soic 8 adaptor to read / write those kind of chips. After we finalize the pin asigment in our exptension port we will release the pinout.

...extension port, no limitation.
