Dear Sir,

For the Android part,it is for pin, backup pin, pattern unlock. Not the alphanumeric. Please note it.

Dear Sir,

After we talked with dev team last week, we implemented alpa-numeric passwords in HDBox manager software, and it will be released in version 1.8 of the HDBox manager, we will let you know when the new manager will be released later this week ( Before Friday 15 July 2017 ).

If you have any other requests or you think HDBox could help you with, let us know,
Best regards,

I can confirm the release date of the HDBOX Manager 1.8 for tomorrow (Tuesday - 18 July 2017) after 1 more round of testing.

We had to delay the plan for Friday - 14 July 2017 - release in order to include the updates and tweaks to the iphone tab. Now we have a common standard on how optical sensor are displayed and handled between different tools available on HDBOX.

Best regards for now,
HDBox support team

i think this is related to my lock:

Android Password lock – Custom passwords list loaded from file:

Only one option available here:
  • ???? to ???? – Custom, load from file – Ask you to load a file containg a list of passwords, each password having 1 to 255 characters, and is one per line. Line ending does not matter, can be either windows ending or linux ending

how to build the file ? or if can give more details?

Yes this is true, to use this feature its quite simple:
  1. Download this file : http://hdb-team.com/download/hdbox/10k-pass.txt,
  2. Connect Phone To HDBOX Usb Host port ( Left side of HDBox when you look at the HDBOX screen ),
  3. Connect HDBOX to the computer to any USB port,
  4. Start HDBOX Manager,
  5. Go to Android Tab,
  6. Click start app,
  7. From the the combo make sure you select "Password lock",
  8. Click on the plus button, and load file from step 1.
  9. (optional) Click Configure button next to the combo to ensure that you have proper settings for this task ( the settings for password are shared with pin settings for now, on next patch of manager and android app each will be seperated)
    • unlocking phone screen(none/tap/drag),
    • phone connection is set to normal AND NOT OTG,
    • input is set to Direct AND NOT TOUCH ( LIKE A MOUSE)
  10. You are good to go, click Run now and HDBOX will start cracking the password on the phone.

If everything is good, password cracking should be done in about 1 week for all 10.000 top passwords ( about 90% of all users use one of this ).

If you encounter any issues, make a quick movie with whats happening on the phone screen and will assist you.

P.s. Last Friday we did an update to the HDBOX operating system: http://hdb-team.com/system-1-8-released-sound-packs/ . This was focused on improving the access to HDBOX's SD card slot, and making sure both HDBOX firmware and Windows could read the card in same time without any side issues, and this particular feature was required by our next release of the android APP where the password list file will go to <HDBOX Disk Letter>\HDBOX\Android.App\Passlist.txt and HDBOX could crack the passwords screen without a computer, just the HDBOX+HDBOX sensor, a charger, and the phone.

Best regards,
HDB-Team support team.
