how do i check if a dongle is alredady registered or not

i bought eft dongle from a dealer in nairobi apparently after trying to register it keeps saying"eft serial is unique for each user" .tried contacting eft team on facebook .they reprogrammed it but still the error. so i need to buy another one.so am cautious
