Tried to fire up EFT dongle today, check account is greyed out and clicking sign in does nothing.

incidentally why is there even need for a login and password with the dongle already providing authentication?

The needing for login and password is to preventing the illegal using to the dongle, and the sign in button takes some time to check
so just wait it
