Apple Stopped Signing S2 IPSW from MFC

They stopped signing the message and you get the error message that it was declined...

Yes. Apple just stopped signing the firmware as far as I know... Maybe someone else can let us know if it works still or not.

I first encountered this message on Friday afternoon, and thought it was an issue with either that particular Apple Watch and/or Mac. This afternoon, I encountered the same error message with a different Apple Watch and different Mac. I thought maybed my IP was blacklisted for doing so many, so I connected to VPN, but same error.

I was attempting to restore WatchOS 3 on to Apple Watch Series 0. Hopefully someone will soon be able to upload a new IPSW file that could help us all out.

This seems hopeless as Apple stopped sending firmware to stores. Watch restores are no only done by Authorized Service Centers.

Any idea how the Authorized Service Centers do it? Did they change the process of pushing an IPSW file via iTunes, so something else? I think what most folks (like me) are hoping for is that a signed IPSW file becomes available.

Apple Repair Centers are probably using the same iTunes + Apple Adapter + Firmware Files.

They just unsigned WatchOS 3.0 because they released the newer 4.0 software to the service centers. I am not sure how the services on eBay are still able to offer the services to remove, maybe they already have new firmware?

I think everyone here is waiting to see if (and when) the WatchOS4 IPSW files might be made available.
