Member: 2733505 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | Updates: The Watch does have a serial number, I can read it using PurpleSNIFF after iTunes shows error 53 (before unplugging the device) because the device stays in restore mode. I had a friend check it on GSX and he told me that it's valid and it comes back with the correct model (42mm stainless black) but is missing a proof of purchase (which makes sense, since it was never "purchased") |

Member: 2733505 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | Here's something interesting... I obtained another identical Demo watch from the same lot. I extracted the serial using PurpleSNIFF and it's identical to the first one! the ECIDs are different as expected. They both come from the first round of demo units, where stores could not upgrade the software on them, so it's possible that they are blocked by Apple because the serial number is "locked" to Demo use only. |

Member: 2733505 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | Is it possible to swap the motherboard with another Apple Watch? I'm thinking about buying a 42mm Sport Series 2, maybe with a broken screen and transfer the motherboard into the stainless steel case with sapphire display |
