What i do, i install new (4.0) version to my watch he is work normally, after then i try to install WatchOS 3.X i have errors and iTunes message on watch.

Error We always have in firmware sector, when update finished at 75-76%

I think we need wait new firmware.
His error is 53 not 56, there's totally different, For example, Error 9 that's crown button problem.

Updates: The Watch does have a serial number, I can read it using PurpleSNIFF after iTunes shows error 53 (before unplugging the device) because the device stays in restore mode.

I had a friend check it on GSX and he told me that it's valid and it comes back with the correct model (42mm stainless black) but is missing a proof of purchase (which makes sense, since it was never "purchased")

Here's something interesting... I obtained another identical Demo watch from the same lot. I extracted the serial using PurpleSNIFF and it's identical to the first one! the ECIDs are different as expected.

They both come from the first round of demo units, where stores could not upgrade the software on them, so it's possible that they are blocked by Apple because the serial number is "locked" to Demo use only.

EDIT: Serial numbers are different, made a mistake while copying them.

I would also like to point out that the serial shows up correctly in GSX but not on the public checkcoverage page (invalid)

Is it possible to swap the motherboard with another Apple Watch? I'm thinking about buying a 42mm Sport Series 2, maybe with a broken screen and transfer the motherboard into the stainless steel case with sapphire display

Easy but you must have some knowledge in hardware to get it fixed
