iPhone 8 Back Glass Repair: Find Out What Your Options Are

A shattered back glass can be frustrating. It's not easy to repair, costs much time and energy. Here I round up several ways to repair a cracked rear glass of iPhone 8 in a quick way. Check how we do it.

Solution 1 - Auto back glass separator

To use this back glass separator for iPhone 8 back glass repair needs only 3 minutes. Simply wire up the machine and connect it with an air compressor. This auto back glass separating machine would let you remove the back glass easily, which applied to mass refurbishing.
Detailed video tutorial guide is available.

Solution 2 - Mini Grinding tool

For this solution, a mini electric grinder is used. To separate the cracking rear glass with hot air gun and sculpture knife first. And to remove the rear camera holder with the mini grinder and cutting nipper. It’s a cost-effective way for most of the repair shop owners. And it does not need to separate the back glass in the first place.
Check how it works with this video

Solution 3 - Dispergator

Here an ultrasonic cleaner is used. Pour the dispergator into the ultrasonic cleaner. And soak the back glass assembly for about 30 minutes. Then remove the back glass with pry sheet. finished. seems very easy.
And also the tutorial guide

So which solution would you choose? Or do you have any other solutions? Please specified.

Good job! I also find one quick way to repair iPhone 8 back glass.

Step 1:
Take down the display assembly. Remove the screws, rear camera, logic board, louder speaker and taptic engine, then take out the battery and disconnect the charging port flex cable. Remove the wireless charging coil by heating with Hot Air Gun, and disconnect the power switch volume flex cable.

Step 2:
Pour adequate dispergator into the container of Ultrasonic Cleaner, then soak the back glass in the container and get the lid on. Set the time of the Ultrasonic Cleaner at 30m, and temperature at 60℃.

After 30 minutes, take out the glass back. Separate the broken back glass from the middle frame with Pry Sheet. In case the broken glasses hurt your hands, please clean the table and be careful during the separating process.

Step 3:
Remove the glue residue on the middle frame with Razor Blade and clean it with N-hexane. So far back glass separating completed without any injuries on the sides.

Step 4:
Apply some glue to the middle frame and spread it evenly. After that, align the rear camera to the right position, then apply pressure and attach the back glass to middle frame tightly. Once done, clean the glue residue.

Step 5:
Assemble the phone and test, and the phone runs normally with wireless charging.
