A226B dead after Reset Knox Guard [Answered]


Hi
I tried to Reset Knox Guard in A226B but operation failed.

Bro i think you have issue with sec ctrl flag locked device... Before doing any brom operation check this flag in Download mode now the only option you have is medusa

Hello.

You have to try to keep all the buttons pressed for about 12 seconds then connect to the PC and see what appears in the device manager, it seems to be a problem with the drivers.

Connect, without buttons, just the cable.

For this moment nothing appears in device manager if I connect phone. I tried connect with buttons, without buttons, with testpoin NOTHING appears in device manager.

Did you checked sec ctrl status in download mode before operation ?

9. Reset Knox Guard

 
  1. Remove SD and SIM cards from the phone;
  2. Click "Reset Knox Guard" button;
  3. Connect powered off phone or connect in Download Mode or connect your phone via Testpoint
  4. Install necessary driver
  5. Follow software instructions (prompts).
Note: In case of an error, you can restore your device to a previous state using the "Restore device" operation.

Moreover, I felt safe I can restore to previous state in case of error but it's not true.
