the phone picks up when i plug it in, shows Qualcomm-HS USB QDloader 9008 (COM 101) when i plug it in, but i cant reload s/w through that port.

well i did use the search function and was not able to find it, can you point me in the right direction?

k for anyone that has this issue as me, since octopus box instrutions isn't very clear this is what you need to do.

1) select LG H870 model (because this is only model that has qualcomm 9008)
2) select your backup file
3) you need to open up the phone, your EDL points are the 2 points under the flash, use a tweeer or something to connect both of those points then plug in your USB cable

that should fix your problem, although after it kick out of 9008 mode.

you can reset the FRP via EDL after this, just repeat the same steps, turn off the phone, click reset FRP qualcomm 9008, then touch the EDL and then plug it in..
