Installed a new, original Apple battery in my XsMax. Works fine, gave just an error of "non genuine" Battery, because I don't have the tools to pair this battery with MB

Coincidence or not, after three weeks the camera picture freezes. Reboot of the phone solves it for a few minutes, sometimes multiple hours.
If you want to switch to "x2", there's 0,5 sec a blurry picture and goes back to "x1", or there comes a black picture both on x1 or x2.

Reinstalled the old battery, no solution. Cleaned connector of zoom cam, so solution.
placed back the metal shield on the camera connectors: camera worked fine for 1,5 day.

I also did an upgrade to iOS15.3 three days before the issue started.

Known problem?

I even did a DFU restore with no luck.

I discovered that the zoom cam 'crashed' only in low light conditions. The iris didn't do anything, but let crashing the software.

The week after my topic, holiday was over and back to work, I wear this phone in my pocket.
After two days this iris cleary works again and no more crashes since early February.

Meganical blocked?

Very old topic, but thanks for the reply.

My camera never ever had issues since this early February.
I already bought a newly camera module, but never used it, because the old one is fine again.
