can someone explain what udid does


i know some suppliers only need imei and some need imei and udid what and why is the udid

It doesnt explain anything!! It jsut tells you how to find it on non icloud locked device, and just says its 'Identifier'!

Not sure If I am remembering well but as far I know some months ago some people used GSX to change phones udid so the moment u activate the icloud wont be a problem
But they were some problems with relock which I am not sure but after user unlocked from icloud and updated,restored phoned the original udid comes back and lock gets ON
A lot of money wasted on it hope those what I said is not true
