if people crack your things you do new things which are better
else you make one product and sell this until you you die after 60 years
so you do a product in a half month or a week or what ever and the rest of your life you earn but do nothing

i fully understand your arguments

in the other hand i think there should be a difference between bussines users and personal users
if someone uses tools for bussines he must buy!
doing business with the work of others if not fair if the others get nothing
i also think people wich realy can buy good products which they like should also buy them to support the developers!

but i also think no one should be expelled from new technologies because he is poor

i mean its like saying that people who cant pay a teacher should not be alowed to visit a school
and that is also a crime... maybe thats the teacher business and maybe economy works like that and maybe this ideology is just by law ... but its a crime

i think also poor people should be able to use common tools to follow the new age
for example if there is a village in africa where they only have one PC which they got from somewhere they should be also allowed to use what ever is good for them
maybe so they can learn something and find a way to get rich ... if so they can also buy the product ... but until they are rich they have no chance to follow the new age of PC
if people maybe in europe with two houses with pool buttler dont buy a simple tool they are also just aasholes.. they have enough cash to buy! they should share theyr money!
same counts for people maybe in the usa with 5 cars ... they can sell 4 cars and buy a own developer if they need

i realy understand that developers also need food!
but i also think there should be some ethics in economy!

if it comes to some kind of tools maybe like m$ ... sometimes .. and ever one knows it ... ethics are evil
but there are allways different politics ... maybe as a good other example we can say the linux comunity is ethical very correct ... or also maybe people as avira ... they make a difference between bussines users and personal users as many more

and to round the whole picture
some developers realy only have $ in theyr head they do **** so that you allways need to pay for update or allways will need them ... they maybe need some kind of balance

but to say it again ... everyone needs food! also developers!
who have what they need should give to them what they need
