I will like to know from members of this forum whether www.allgsm.co.uk is a trustable site to do business with and tell me whether this is fair.

I ordered motorola C series clip from their site and made my sister & husband pay for me by sending them a cheque.They (i mean allgsm ) e-mailed and notified me that they've received the cheque ( as at 16th July, 2004).According to them they needed to verify the validity of the cheque because the cheque was issued in a UK bank while the delivery addresss is in Africa.

In all it will take 15 working days for them to complete the verification process.I have e-mailed them five times and tried several times to call them from Ghana.They neither reply my e-mails and whenever I call, their line is always engaged.

The cost of the item is 109.99 pounds for the clip and 11.99 for shipment to Ghana.In all I made my sister sent to the www.allgsm.co.uk 122 pounds.

I will plead with anyone who knows this company to tell them to reply to my e-mails.Or if they think the cheque is a fraud, they should sent it back to the address my sister used.

Infact I am worried, because 122 pounds is 2.3 million over here .

all-gsm is 100% trustable (he is a good friend from me)
he is in holiday since 3 weeks
he´ll come back next week
after that he´ll contact you

Yes he is 110% trustable. I think he is only being careful with you - are you a new customer of his?
I have had foreign cheques take over 3 weeks to clear so i think you will be ok with him

Dear Alex,

Please understand the position I am in over this, and especially since I have already lost hundreds of pounds from fraud cheque's over the past year from African buyers who pay by cheque, only for the cheque to clear and then a few days after I find that the cheque was used fraudulently!!

You ordered a c clip from me from Ghana, and a few days later a cheque arrives posted from London in a different name. What am I supposed to think??

I did tell you, and so did Sam that we have to contact the bank concerned to make sure the cheque is legitimate!

I see no crime in that - do you??

I am awaiting a letter from the bank to confirm that the cheque is ok and as soon as it is processed the item will be dispatched - you have my word!

Ok both purchased and sold to Yeldar and would recommend him to anybody 100% trustworthy and reliable Having brought many things fom him and sorted me out with stuff that i required at short notice.

Also read about the scams that yeldar is referring to and his procedure to make sure that his is not scammed and lose any money, because at the end of the day it has to come out of his own pocket.

Im sure you can understand his procedure in the matter.

Yeldar is 100% and was very understanding when I came close to losing £18,000 over fraudulent cheques. I will no longer supply your part of the world.

I don't blame Yeldar for making you wait. His business comes first.

winner you are thinking of another all-gsm ;-)

all gsm in uk is 100% trustable.
we sell him £1000s of stock on credit and NEVER fails to pay.
So its a simular situation as you.
i can vouch for the dodgy cheques from africa too.
We have to await the cheque to completely clear before goods are even condsidered being released.
Please bare with him (or british banks ;-)

Well Alex, I have replied 2 times now in 24 hours to your emails offering you a quicker option of paying which will enable you to receive your c clip within a few days!!

If your sister who you say sent the cheque can pay the amount of money stated in my email to you in cash, directly into our bank account, I will send the item out the very same day!!

I think thats a fair option for you to consider, dont you think?

i deal with darren at allgsm.co.uk and he also deals with me and i have never had a problem yet, in fact i find that we can always "haggle" a deal either way

I would also do the same checks and wait the 15 days to make sure if i was him, if you had ordered from my site m8

Their is many a fraudulent cheque from overseas, i don't blame him tbh

i am sorry if you feel like a criminal or un-trustable but we have to make sure that every purchase is 100% good.

I also use a address checker for all uk customers, but if overseas i must be vigilant like darren (yelder) is.

you only need check the cheaters section of this forum to check either of us out)

p.p.s if you doubt either of us pls count our posts and perhaps read some of them

Yeldar (Darren/allgsm.co.uk) is 10000000% trustable! I have had dozens of transactions with him... all have been flawless. His sales and after sales support are an example to this business.

You need to understand that all transactions paid by check are to be scrutinized, particularly those from foreign nations, and even more so those with different names and addresses on the checks and mailing addresses.

Once the check is cleared and verified (or you make other arrangements), I am certain that he will make sure you get the clip as soon as possible.

I can vouch for him 100000x.
