This is true.. You need to know quite a bit about the qualcomm mobiles to use this tool.
The only thing I can criticize is that they advertise the tool like something easy to use and who buy the tool thinks is going to find a friendly user interface and a support area full of guides and suggestions when indeed the forum is almost useless and I've been reading the answers of the only product supporter active there where most of the time he suggest the user to learn his job instead of giving any hint.
As well the users fight with a completely missing of standard on the jtag so they need to make an adapter ad hoc (when they can find the pinout of course) for each jtag they buy.
It is a quite a mess to be honest and who want learn to use it must make quite few experiments to get the control of the tool.
May be a good idea would be to make a forum open to the non users so they could check more about the tool before buying it.

BR

Alex
