Universal box Problems After Update - GSM-Forum

As seen as though Universal box team keep deleting negative posts regarding their product from their support section, I thought this would be a good place to start a "problem after update" topic to highlight, and hopefully try to asses just how many people are having an issue after the last updates.

In my case.
The software started as always and everything looked good. Restarted after update and refused to see the Universal box. The USB ID can be seen in "setup / general", but it appears from looking at other forums, the SMCU is damaged. The "help" I received from supporters varied from format my pc, try another machine, etc, etc. Then when other people join the thread, the thread gets deleted.

This topic is purely for people having an issue after an update.

Another reason for this topic is for people wishing to buy a product can see all aspects of reliability, and the support that is offered. Not just the positives.
