Hello all,

I bought a new laptop (p3 800) and I can not unlock alcatel with it. Be4/be5 phones powers on when I press connect in software! My new alcatel BF box doesn't work either on the laptop. Very strange because the rest of my other software works fine with the laptop (emmibox, jig box and dongles).
Please is there anyone with a good solution? The one with the correct solution will get 10 siemens logs for free!!
(please don't tell me that the cable is not ok because cable works fine on desktop and the old laptop)

Try to slow processor. My celeron@800 can't unlock alcatel also.
Koci doesn't work, but emsy's soft is ok. You can try to run your soft from floppy disk, or try some cache eating program.

Hi,

Try to plug in the charger to your laptop.
Some laptops (e.g. Toshiba) go in a kind of 'power saving' mode when they are supplyed only from battery, and in this state COM port don't work well at high baudrates.

I had same problem with one Toshiba Sattelite. Without charger connected, any program who need to use 115k baud on COM port not work when laptop was supplyed only from accu. All the rest programs who use slower baud rates work well. With charger plugged in, no problems at 115kbps.

When I try with floppydisk it says inpout32.dll not found
When I use cpukiller, donlge is not found.

First time when I powered on my laptop today (with charger) I was able to connect was the phone. Only once after that not anymore. I tried rebooting, powered of etc....... Any any idea what is wrong?
My laptop is a toshiba satellite pro 4600

Mr Zulea was right, you need external power source for your BOX.

You need an adaptor with external power to conect your cable in it.

You must ask Kima (I think that you use SW that hi sell) for new version of the dongle (and may be cable) - the new version work OK on laptops, but on first dongles things are not same - you must connect only on desktop PC.
