USB data cable for 2280... - GSM-Forum

hi

i wanted a datacable to connect a Nokia 2280 CDMA set to the internet ,
then i found that I will need a USB data cable with POP-PORT on the other end,
and as i have heard that it is known as DKU-5 cable,
and all the pop-port are similar to each other as the pinout of that port is same ,
so we can use that cable with any Nokia phone with pop-port.

then i brought a cable marked as nokia 6610 and it is a USB-to-popport cable.
now when i installed the driver came with the cable in a cd ,
it displays PROLIFIC USB-TO-SERIAL CABLE under the universal serial bus controllers tab in Device manager...
and i am unable to use the PC-Sync Software for Nokia 2280 nor i can connect to the internet ,

can anyone help me use that cable i am giving a picture of that cable...

please reply...

its not DKU-5 cable. its normal USB cable. works as serial cable.
