3310 dropped in water now display leds are shorted out and on all the time.please hel
 

my 3310 fell in the bath and now the display leds are on all the time but dim.<br />the phone still works including the display which is really lucky but i can not see the display in the dark.<br />i replace leds all the time but can not see a problem with this circuit.<br />please help. many thanx from the WILDWHACKER.

hi mate the leds on the screen are on dim becase their is still warter in the phone. try tkethe phone to bits and drying it with a hair dryer! the the negitve side of the led is shorting to the ground of the phone <br />bishman <a href="http://www.bishman.co.uk" target="_blank">The Free Ringtone Hang Out</a>

I think i can help you......but sorry my English...<br />In back side of 3310 main board there´s a IC out of biggest metal grate (NMP 70433 ....).<br />- Check Vbb 2,8V DC in pin 2 and Vb 3,6V DC in pin 1 of the same IC.<br />- Check resistors above, like the one who comes to pin 14 and pin 8.<br />Probably you have a IC problem, but check this.....<br />Mail me for more detailsnull

i done a full factory reset in new nokia tool build 035<br />then i full flashed from 002 - 003<br />phone now works 100%<br />many thanx
