3310 Imei Init Failed - GSM-Forum

I tried changing the IMEI on a 3310 but I keep getting IMEI init faild/IMEI write failed, I also tried flashing the phone but no luck it won't write to the phone but would read the phone, what could be the problem?

Have u tried rewriting a virgin EEPROM? If not try doin that then flashing a new MCU+PPM onto the phone, like 4.45 and then using kNok Phoenix to write your original IMEI Number to the phone. Hope this helps.....
