3310 strange behavior - GSM-Forum

I have a 3310 that is working a bit strange.

THe symptoms are:

1.- Sometimes when I receive a message it tells me that cannot read the new message (it shows mw an imcomplete telephone nuember) or print me strange characters ( not the original message, of course)

2.- THe predictive text does not recognise new words, it does not highlight the entire word, it truncate the word into 2 pieces and there is no possibility to join it

Actions taken by now

1.- SW Reset

2.- Set Factory

3.- Upgrade SW Version, now is the 5.13. The original one was 4.18

My suspects goes to the SIM-Card, but I need more opinions

Any "contribution" will be very well-appreciated

is it a english message or any other language. i got same problem with arabic message, the message shows junk characters, but after changing the software, it works ok.
