nokia 3310 unknown flash type ???? - GSM-Forum

Hello !
Can anyone help me?
Just got 3310 v06.07.When connect to cable and try flash with rolis flasher v4.79 got mesage:Unknown flash type ID:002088CE.
Was try also with Knok but no luck. Rolis tools can unlock, and change IMEI, but nothing with flashing.
Any help??!!

Try other soft if again some message resolder flash and ram chip but very careful or change flah and ram

This Device is not supported by rolis.
Download geoflasher from http://f4.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/8AjjQWa...a/GEOFLASH.rar and unrar somewhare on your computer, then open folder Config, and edit Dev_List.fps.
Add there following line: 002088CE:ST M28W160CT, ALIAS_ID=00898896
This solution could work for knok too, but for geoflash 1000000%.

Change nothing, use géoflasher, is the best now!

few days ago i got same problem , when i was flash with Rolis a message appear (unknown flash type) so i flash with my orignal griffin box flash was complete 100% but also a message appear (fade can't update)so i power on with sim but no signal i use nokia tool for update faid but not success

for 3310 version over 6 it's cann't use Rolis flasher to do something use griffin for flash it and afterflashing ppm it's update faid Automatic. sorry for my eng.

I used to flash DCT3's with Rolis and Geo b4 but now i have UFS i ignored them already. Ufs the best flasher for Nokias... And another thing, if no success flashing with Rolis possible no success with geo or ufs or either way.

I also use TWISTER, and this is very good tool for GSM, but i know not all ppl have money or interes to buy professional tool, that`s why i describe best, and cheapest way to write new flashes. Geoflasher is good flasher and is free, not to mention that is very easy to modify for your purposes.
