5110 5.29 help!!! - GSM-Forum

I tryed to unlock 5110 5.29 with all known methodS, but phone is still locked.

In EEPROM is something changed, but checksum is OK, I dont have "Contact service".

Phone is locked to lock 1.

PLEASE HELP !!!

Tested and unlocked 5110v5.29 SP-lock.
Not a very good way. Must open the phone.

Please tell me solution for 5.29. All known solutions don't work for me....

this is the solution for unlocking nokia 5110 ver 5.29 :
1.you have open the phone (without back over)
2.phone must be on
3.connect m-bus cable to phone
4.run nokiatool.exe to read phone
5.on eeprom 24c16 conect SDA (5 pin) (phone stil on) with a wire
and that wire with resistor 4 to 10 k(4.7 K or 5.6 k until 10k)
6.connect other side of resister to Ground (GND) phone stil on
7.read phone a gain
8.push unlock button 8 - 10times
9.remove conect from GND
10.push unlock button again and phone is unlocked works 100% on All locks

For V5.29 only, with resistor 4.7K connect pin 5 and other side of resister to Ground.
Do as what Paderf say.

Someone say that using Capacitors to GND can unlock the phone too. But what value?

The guys, do not risk. Copy at first Bin-fail.
But there is more simple way.

I have Nokia 5110 Ver 5.28 with all 4 locks closed. Will your way work with this version as well. I have a mbus cable. Is there a simpler way that works???

search phone to flash version 5,27 desolder you flash, solder to ver 5,27 onlock old method,desold flash pur original 5,28 to all
