Member: 4873 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | actually it i was so hard headed... it came from another shop... it doesnt have the same imei at the back cover but i still wanted to try and fix it the problem is... i tried to make back up of this phone from a friend's flasher cable (just to test if its good ) but i didnt check if its a good back up or not ( STUPID HUH!) well it is not.. and so i used my old cable to flash it with 20-3d... because the "new cable" wouldn't read the phone. the old cable has no problem booting, f_loaders, and reading the phone but when it comes to the writing part it says CMD error... i dont know what that means NOW when i try to power ON THE PHONE"S DEAD!!!! (please guys try to read this essay) now i dont know what to do, i just need to power this phone again so i cud return it.... i had this problem before with a 3210, after flashing it lost its power.. i had a friend do it * MDR - musta na pre? dami kopa talga di alam dito sa flashing2 |

Member: 2034 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 24 | Pare! i hope you have not touched the PPM and the EEPROM part of the phones Flash Memory. The thing is when overwriting this contents possible cause will be: netwok goes on and off; 4 locks closed even if you flash it through partial flash file; imei changes to different variable other than the original imei in the phones back casing; phone always powers off without touching the power switch. Backup first the PPM and EEPROM contents of the Flash Memory, here are the addresses: PPM=00520000h-005A0000h, EEPROM=005FA000h-00600000h, full PPM and EEPROM backup: 00520000h-00600000h Use right f_loader to be able to overide CMD Error, the thing is your current f_loader file cannot properly communicate with the phone Flash Memory, check your email i have uploaded 2 loaders namely the f_loader.bin and unf_loader.bin, try this loaders i have successfully repaired several 6210 units. By the way the unf_loader.bin is universal it can read and write any flash types on nokia units except for the 6210. Please take note that if you have erased the original PPMs and EEPROM all instructions and comments i have made will be totally useless, its important to take a note of it, I HOPE.. As for the moment i have no solutions yet for the EEPROMs system repairs. But for the PPM just look for a 6210 that has the same PPM version with your defective 6210 unitt, some 6210 PPM vary different versions, mostly likely there are 9 of them for all i know, this are PPM A to I. Any comments and suggestions please email me at [email protected] or you can contact me on my wireless phone. CHEERS! +639173427696 |
