Hi,
I am not so sure if you can change display brightness with Nokia tools, i think you can use Nokia profile, i used to have it somewhere on my computer but don't have it anymore, otherwise i would have tested it just to make sure
regards
Meam

Yes, Nokia Profile 1.7 from schwantz works to ADJUST CONTRAST on Nokia Phones. A full registered version of Logomanager must be installed first, if not NkProfile does not run well.
For resetting FACTORY SETTINGS, you can use Special Factory Set in Nokiatool but for advance and more reliable RESET use the "Cracked Wintesla"

Use Nokia tool by Koci . You can reset to factory defaults and change brightness on some types of Nokia phones ( tested on 3210 ).

Hi ed2K-2,
some questions about Nokia tools, you are the expert
i have been using this tool for a long time but never realy know what the many different boxes do. boxes like
device data, scm,sms data,T&P counters and all the others, the only one which i have used up to now is UI settings, can you or some other experts explain what all these little boxes do when you check them?
regards & thanks in advance
Meam

Meam
No, I'm not an expert, simply like
you who takes every small information
as an added knowledge and learning
experience. As we all know... that
UI Settings reset/restore the SecCode,
Games Topscore, Logos, Tones etc. on
some Nokia (NOT with 62/71/83 ofcourse)
until I noticed when I upgraded some
Nokia like 33xx, 3210 and 82xx, Picture
Message, SMS and related features "hangs",
then I check SMS Data and Apply SFS.
Unit was good at that! "Small Box" for
Device Data can be reset if you have
some problem with phonebook scrolling
and keypads and would you believe if
the "Networks lost" after Upgrading. It's
very effective based on my experience.
For Default Imei, no comment on that.
For SCM & T&P Counter, DCT-3 Full flasher
included that for reset and I don't know
why , but still I make it a
point to apply these.
Remember: make sure not to select/check
all Special Factory Set Option then
APPLY SFS. That will not recommended to
result good and still based on my actual
trial.
