Just give me your advice on this.

Does your flasher 1.04 soft support 9210? I have both your Dongle and a 9210 right now, but I dot have the courage to try it. Please advice on this. I heard for 9210, FPS-8 is needed when it comes to using original Nokia Flashing Devices.

Your 100% right with use of FPS8 or updated TDX.

Thanks for reply <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> But do you think that Dejan's 1.04 PPM-MCU uploader is still capable of flashing this device and upgrade it to latest firmware which is 3.54? I think this is possible, assuming that the 9210 is still DCT3 right? I am waiting for Mr. Kaljevic's reply though, maybe the MSiD is not yet supported...

Hello Guys,

Just a little info... 9210 and 9290 are not using DCT3 algorithm. These phones use DCTL LINDA Algorithm. FPS-8 is used for this + 8MB SRAM Module. I haven't tried using it with Dejan 1.04 yet because I do not own a 9210. Also, the orignal PPM and MCU files for the 92xx is different in format when compared to the other DCT3 phone's PPM and MCU. The address headers in every 0002000h is now removed! Although these new PPM and MCU flash file format that the 92xx use are very much similar to what you get when you open your flash.out from Dejan Flasher 1.0 <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> Who knows, it might work... But then again, it may not.
