Dejan 1.03 box, so many questions and a few answers

hi,
I didn´t have see the box inside but it´s said that inside is a microcontroler that generate the correct flash authority-id to update the mcu. The microcontroler have embeded the firmware, so first thing to do is know what kind of microcontroler and if it´s posible to hack the firmware to rip the box. After see the Dejan flasher I don´t belive that it would be easy/posible to rip the box so as far as I know the mcu can be read/write without the box (this doesn´t mean success) so I ask if could be posible to snif the port and get the boot loader to read the mcu, once read the problem is figuring out how the algorithm works. With such amount of nokias arround it wouldn´t be hard to do a scratch list and find the key, next modify the program to inject the flash auth-id from the program...

Yes you are right , should not be so difficult .
But something else , we are flashing phones .
Why are whe not tying to find out codes ?
Whe can nowdays see al that is in the phone .
Why isn't there anybody who figures out how to find unlock codes ?

I think find codes is not so needed because everybody can unlock the phones with Dejan or others..however upgrade phones is usefull to fix/repair problems,

Invisible is right. Reverse engineers would take a lot of time to figure out how this dejan 'thing' works.

I am wondering if there is somebody who can make a soft with same capabilities but with an original signature.(not from dejan "thing")

Hi,
To Salami1_1 ,

Sorry to dissapoint you but this diagram is
for Jehtro Unlocker. Dejan v1.03 uses 4 bit communication between the PIC and the LPT.
He uses MSB part of the Data Port -
pins 6,7,8,9. Rest of the pins are used for connection to the phone. I also think there is another chip for switching MBUS (could be just the PIC).
