Who can send me flash files from old 5110 nokias v5.27, 5.26, 5.24 ?

Do you have the flash from this versions. I hope you will e-mail it to me. I will experiment on downgrade,open w/ NokiaTool, upgrade.

This method works 100% with 05.29.

Backup 05.29, flash to 05.24, unlock with pro-tool 034, flash back to 05.29

which f_loader.bin / boot.bin files
did u use .. ?

charly what else can i say.as i see it, it is a quick solution to the problem.As soon as i get a 5110 5.29 i will post the partial flash for it!!!
i am not in it to make money but the way i see it the only way i can get a 5110 is either to buy it or to charge for unlocking and unlock the phone and then post the flash for it.

If you read posts in the last few weeks its now all getting beyond a joke, with most people now saying I will fix/repair/help only "IF" you exchange/buy/give me and the whole idea of this forum is to HELP in the best way we can, people do not need to advertise or otherwise on these pages,(And if they must there is a section for them) its not directly aimed at you mate, its about the repeat offenders who are not satisfied with the free information they pick up they want to make money out of each other as well.

if you need to help this poor guy and recover postage and packing then email him as I did with you and offer your services but you must remember that 15.00 in UK can be a lot of money elsewhere after all we are all on Thoic for one reason Help at minimum cost thats why its as good as it is.

But problem is not in locks - phone shows FFFF and EEEEEEE locks after corrupting security area in eeprom. You can unlock it (for example by partial flashing), but phone will not find network. And my researching of this question (how recalculate eeprom) make me pessimistic.
I think, the easyest way - resolder flash, eeprom, cobba and may be cpu from other phone (which has damages in other components).

ive managed to repair some (not all) CS phones, 5110 & 3210 but not 3310 and others. most way to do is to backup first Full flash,save it. Read eeprom with programmer and save. Repair with CS Repairer by Bartek or Guar. then write it back to eeprom. Now, Flash the phone with a Full LOCKED fls (from a working phone backupped). Read with nokiatool and you will see that the phone is locked normally and not EEEE FFFF. IMEI is the same as orig and on back cover. Flash again with partial flash. Now phone is alive with Network!!!

Corund you have right you must read flash and eeprom from some other working 5110 put that files in your eeprom and flash,and also desolder Cobba from that that you readed and put it on 5110.
I have repair one already with this method.
Cobba is the key for checksums beetween flash and eeprom.
It doesnt mateer what soft version you out in that phone,but it will not work if you put 5130 dumos and cobba.

Is The Coba an circuit?
I don't know what it is.I have tried to repair N5110 with this steps:
1.I repair the cecksum with ContServbartec1.0
in eeprom, i flash the phone whit a full backup-locked,same version.
2.I flash the phone with an partial flash
3.When I read the phone whit nooKiatool, it look's unlocked but don`t accept the sim
But when i start the phone.
What i do wrong?

Strange thing happened to me !!!

I have played arround with some old nokia 5110 5.04. I was trying to find some solution for upgrading, language changing in this nokia. I have backupped the flash but not the eeprom ( my mistake ). SO after few partial flashing, and full flashing, i have tried to flash back original flash but phone started on with low contrast and when i inserted sim it was sim card not accepted!!!!
Phone was unlocked before!!! I'w tried to unlock with nokiatool 034 and nothing?!?! Still locked. But when i flashed the phone with 5.29 software and unlocked it with partial flash it was unlocked but no network offcourse. Why the phone with 5.04 version can not be unlocked????? All 4 locks closed!

Cobba is audio chip but somehow is connected with flash and eeprom checksums(I think that is inside ram data with some kind of checksum)
Try this thing.
If you have 5110-5.29 with ee ff in locks,
flash it with another working same version flash from 20000 to 30000.Its a full flash,
you will see its be the same.
Then put eeprom dump from working phone it will be same again.
If you partial flash 5.29 to unlock ityou will get all open locks but when you put sim card it will not be accepted.

So cobba is the key of everything.
