8210 auto answer - GSM-Forum

Hi, I have a nokia 8210. please i would like to know if it is possible to

1) set the lights not to come on/flash when i receive a call.

2) set the phone to auto answer when i have no headset plugged into the phone. i.e when not set to "Headset" profile. More or less can I activate the "Headset" profile without plugging in a headset.

ok first to have the headset activated without actually pluggin it in you need to short circuit the connections of the headset i know how to do this on 6210 etc becuase the layout is different but i dont think its possible with the nokias that have a headphone style connection. As for the lights activate the net monitor and set the lights to off i think this is option 18 i think this could work ive only done it to keep the lights on. BE CAREFUL WHEN WORKING WITH NET MONITOR i hope this helps
