Flashing virgin eeproms problem - GSM-Forum

Hi all!
I want (need) to flash a virgin eeprom to a 7110 but my usual programs won't let me do it because of the small filesize.

What method / program should i use to succeed?

set start adress and end adress before start flashing .
5FA0000 IS YOUR START ADRESS.

rolis sais filesize must be n*64k and 7110 virgin eeprom is 24k

why you want write virgin eeprom if for reset security code don't help .

I want to clean my 7110 to factory values.

I have tried with a "clean eeprom" but there were messages and phonenumbers from somebody elses phone in there so i didn't liked the ideea.

I need just a program to write to the phone 24kb flash file because rolis and knok don't work.

I'll try with dejan classic 1.00b, hope it works. I must switch computers because i run win2k.

I have made it!

For anyone else who's interested i'll describe the process but i will also upload the VIRGIN eeprom and pmm so that rolis can flash it from windows!

I have cleared all the memory of the phone, then i tried to upload with dejan 1.00b to the address 5FA000 but didn't worked so i have uploaded the virgin eeprom (24kb) at 300000.
i have read with rolis the address from 2F6000-306000 and saved the partial virgin eeprom of 65k so that rolis can upload it, and also saved 296000-306000 to make a full 7110 virgin backup for easier use for others.

The full VIRGIN backup (pmm+eeprom) is located at http://kaesar.go.ro/7110e2prom+pmm-virgin.rar go and get it!!! Flash the file like a normal backup from 5A0000.

If downloading doesn't work access the file from the main page: http://kaesar.go.ro/. Good luck!

use NokiaTool v1.8
u can upload the eeprom file with "Write > MCU e2prom"
