Flashtone v2.09 and v2.10-Lite by Ice Dragon: FREE!!! - GSM-Forum

Hello Forumers,

All appreciation goes to the author, Ice Dragon (Bacolod City, Philippines) for the hardwork in developing the Original Nokia DCT3 Flashtone, Message Alert Tone/Ringing Tone Changer. Flashtone V2.09 fixed the bug in long and continues tone in 6210 and 7110.

Questions, reported bugs and request for more improvement (Pro) will not be entertain in this thread. SOFTWARE is "AS IS, PER IS" Download and use it if you want... and don't if you'll only trying to degrade the author's masterpiece and ultimate goal of then coming up with the real Message Alert Tone changer when everyone think before (yes it was December 2001) that it was impossible for DCT-3 before phone with Personal Assign Tone come out at present. ... and it was born here in GSM-Forum Software Nokia Section not in other claiming Forums.

It was then, Flashtone 2.02 (protection cracked), Flashtone 2.05(again, huh

)... but you never heard again of Flashtone v2.07a, v2.08, v2.09 and the LATEST VERSION v2.10 Lite released here only in the Philippines... As a sign of goodwill and contribution to the GSM enthusiast software collections that was for the timeless DCT-3 Mobile Phones (excuse me DCT4 for a while)...

but................................ you will never know there might be a new "FLASHTONE for DCT4" phones developing now

Hello Forumers,

All praises goes to Ice Dragon, he once retired but comebacked. The man was always unpredictable when comes to developing software, many ideas in his mind including the Mobile-controlled Device software and hardware, not mentioning the original FlashBox and FlashTone.

One time, Ice asked me if there's a software to read DCT-4 Mobile Phones, he wanted then to give it a shot! He said its a new challenge for him... but I said; never mind the DCT4 and still No existing software to read its MCU-PPM contents and this will not be appreciated by GSM People after all. They don't mine begging after all your hardwork and your rigid testing with units.

So, this will be only for DCT3 tones and never for DCT4... History will never repeats itself (cross your finger)... but all this will prove to all the ingeniunity of the Filipino in terms of GSM technologies... and proud to say that we even belong to 3rd World economy-starving countries.

I have no need for the software download but my thanks go to ice dragon for his research on flash editing. without some of his older posts i could not have edited message alerts with hex editor

btw, i hear Cyber not only cracks gsm programmes but he also offers advice on protection. maybe in future you could chat with him to prevent history repeating

Yes i do offer advise and advise was offered for this and turned down.
In fact i was personally challenged to crack his new protection which i did do which was v2.09 and v2.10 but i did not release it free to all as in previous versions but when i am personally challenged what can i do but prove myself? his fault not mine

i also cracked PPMedit but i have been talking to TNP and advising him on how to better protect his newer versions and i wont be cracking his newer versions before anyone asks for it cos its a great program and very cheap and worth the money

Well said Cyber, no need to crack v2.10 Lite, I already asked the permission from Ice Dragon to give it FREE too in the coming days... That really give the due repect to the author by not releasing a cracked one... he and the team felt bad when protection was cracked, was it March '02 of this year? So we decided to the plan that it will be exclusively for local release only.

So to all, don't post "send mes" Flashtone v2.10Lite will be posted here FREE soon. Watch out folks!!! More gift from Ice Dragon himself...
