group caller ringtone - GSM-Forum

anyone know if u can set the caller group ringtone from ur download directory instead of nokia's ringtone?? cos i cant seem to set mine to the ringtones tat ive created....and im using 6610...

and also...im using infrared instead of cable...so is there any software out there for me to use which is good??and free???

For the software, please check under GSM-Forum > Mobile Phones > Nokia > Nokia Software section...

I am also wondering whether we can change the group ringtones to our own gallery's ringtones... The Nokia preset ringtones were very dull!!

guys, you have to look on some threads or post regarding these. here's how and why; your sw version might be old, say 3.09 or lower. if you want to have that feature change the version to 4.18 or 4.74. and check your ringtone extension too, it should be *.mid otherwise it won't work.
