You can look in the eeprom... Download it and check...

In some cases you can connect charger cable,
connect data cable and you can read.But don`t know if it works in your case if it`s
totally dead.Try otherwise you have really
have to read eeprom or eeprom block.

I do it like this:
Read the whole flash. Get hex editor and search for the PPM file (just search for "PPM").
For example on 3310 4.18 it is on h130000
"PPM.V 4.18.18-12-00.NHM-5...."
It works on any phone. You just have to find the PPM.
