i would search the forum for this solution from old posts but this facility is not working for me at the moment. anyway can someone please tell me if you are supposed to flash from 28 or 29 for this.

i have done from 28 but others say should be 29 can someone please send me the complete solution. many thanx [email protected]

this is the solution to your problem:Note: This solution works when only the first lock is closed. SW Requirements: Dejan Flasher 1.00b and NokiaTool.

1. Backup the PMM & EEPROM area (3D0000-400000) using the attached loaders (956 and 6244 bytes long). The FLASHER.CFG settings for the 3310 should be 65 05. This step is *very* important!

2. Flash the partial 3310_503_patch.fls using the above settings to the address 280000. The phone would accept any card but... you know <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> no network!!!!!!!! <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

3. Start NokiaTool, turn on the phone, press "Read ME" buttton, type "FFFFF" to the MCC+MNC field and press the corresponding button to close it. THE NOKIATOOL WILL WRITE A MESSAGE "Can not close lock..." DO NOT WORRY AND DO NOT PRESS THAT BUTTON AGAIN! Turn the phone off as soon as possible (max approx. 20s from turning on).

4. Flash the partial 3310_503_orig.fls to the address 280000. 5. Now try to put other sim card!!!

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOUR PHONE MAY ACCEPT A DIFFERENT SERVICE PROVIDER SIM CARD BUT MAY NOT BE ABLE TO USE CURRENT ONE ANYMORE
