Member: 2274 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | ![]() I wanted to find a solution for all the 6210, that do not accept the right Security Code. And I found it after 8 hours! Itīs really very easy: Do the following: 1. Make full Backup from 0020-0060. So you cant kill your phone! Dont blame me! :-) 2. Read Phone from 005D-0060! 3. Take a Hexeditor and search the right Security code! Itīs in ASCII! 4. Overwrite it from first digit of Security Code to 000DFFFF (Adress in the readed file) with FF 5. Flash back to phone from 005D! 6. Now the phone will still ask for Security Code, but will accept 12345!!! Thatīs it! Really easy! I hope I could help with my little Faq! I tried this with 6210-436 and 6210-304 and it works 100% by me! Be warned: Dont make any changing without safe full backup, also dont blame me, if you killed your phone! I only wanted to help! Greetings from east germany! :-) PS: I used Hexworkshop 3.1 Really great editor! MR... <FONT COLOR="#ffff00" SIZE="1">[ 12 April 2001 01:57: Message edited by: Brobble ]</font> |

Member: 2274 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | ![]() @meshoz: Perhaps in other software-version, the code is saved in another adress. Search it in the Full-Backup! If you find, than delete it from first digit to the next line with FF, where PMM you can read in ASCII. But dont delete this line!!! Only look at the ASCII part, not HEX! Take the Hexeditor and use the Find-Function! You understand? Sorry for my bad english! I learned at school 5 years ago. :-) Greetings MR... <FONT COLOR="#ffff00" SIZE="1">[ 12 April 2001 13:33: Message edited by: Brobble ]</font> |

Member: 2274 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | ![]() So, now I looked in some other Backups from 6210 with the same problem! Sometimes the Security code is saved in another adress, befor 005D. So I experimented with some 6210īs and found a better solution: Read out phone from 005A-0060. So you have a file with 384 KB size! Now open it with hexeditor! I did with Hexworkshop 3.1! :-) You can delete all with FF, only not this parts: 00000000 - 0000000F 00010000 - 0001000F 00020000 - 0002000F 00030000 - 0003000F 00040000 - 0004000F 0005A000 - 00060000 This are the adresses in the readed file!!! If you delete all the other sh.., you will loose your logo, your startuplogo, the saved wap-cache and all the sms, that are saved on phone. Also flash back from 005A with dejan flasher! Switch on the phone, put in your pin and be happy, that the phone wont ask for security code! :-) Now the Security code is 12345!!! Greetings from east germany!
