5110 at 70% unlocked - GSM-Forum

I used Zulea´s 6.6 unlocker to unlock a 5110 v5.22 with locks 1 & 4 and the program said that any sim would be accepted but it also said "failed to exit program". I thought it was unlocked but is was not. I tried NTC and this one also read the IMEI, type, security code etc but it said "failed to cear locks". I got very desapointed and decided to use winlock to check phone. For my surprise in lock 1 field it was fulled of ????? (this was good) but in the lock 4 field it showed ???0259368 - what the hell is this? 70% unlocked?!? The counter in winlock has now a 1 instead of a zero (it´s counting - that´s ****in bad). I tried to use these programs again but no more changes occured! Does anyone know what I should do in order to unlock completly that phone?

the same happened to me with nse-sp from gsm now on 6110540. it unlocked phone only to normal sim to same provider not of other providers? winlock shows lock1????? lock4?????????0. im stuck, please help!

try by winlock on the lock 4 section to correct the last 0 to a ? and push close locks again.

it will no prob becouse your locks are locked now, i think so.

and now you can lock the locks again and again...

These programs are amazing.

The

is just like a "joker card", any digit is allowed instead of it. The lock1 (MCC+MNC) + lock 4(subscriber part of the IMSI) is the IMSI of the SIM card in use. So, if the reading is correct, any sim card ending in 0 must be accepted.

winlock says error lock already closed even if factory<>user. also no other unlocker on the net seems to work??

Did you try my unlocker for nokia?

You must run winlock,choose defaults in menu bar,change mccnc into ?????,msidn into ??????????,then choose close or auto for lock 1&4,then push close locks,phone must reboot and lock 1&4 must be closed with?-signes.Now it's confused and must accept all sims.
