I partially flashed 5110 5.11 with 5.28.fls files by mistake. help me! - GSM-Forum

hi,

I made a mistake and partially flashed (250000 - 260000) with 5110-528.fls file.
Now phone is dead.If i flash with full 5.11 then phone turnsa on but couldn't find network.
Please help me.

I think this phone can be ok if you follow this shortcut and do as peter says

I know this is for 5130 but the same should apply for your 5110 as they are same phone but 5130 is 1800Mhz ver, you may not have to downgrade flash on phone just use the old pin trick for locks and then reflash.

Yep you make error, you may flash only this range that you rewrite from 5.28..now you must find another 5.11 that is from the some country as your was - this can be compatibile....Eerchant

No Eerchant I think by reading his post he has already done a full backup already, which is why I told him to do what I wrote.

If Nightxyz you have not done a full backup yet "DONT" you must do as Eerchant says and try to get partial backup from same version phone and reflash only the area you have flashed eg:250000-260000 OK

I don't have any backup of 5110 ver 5.11.Last day i download two 5.28 from same Flash ID and same network.But there are a lot of differences.Not only 250000-260000, also 000B0000 through ..... are different.I think this phone can not be repaired except by Nokia Service.

If you have backup even after wrong partial flashing - you simply can restore phone - you must get first 720896 bytes(0 to AFFFF) from same version (5.11) backup and reflash phone. If you have no backup - you need backup from phone with same version and language pack.
