LEGENDARY B.B.'s NOKIA PAGE closed down by Nokia iteself!!!

I regret to inform you all that B.B.'s Nokia Pages has ceased to exist. The reason why I've decided to remove the site, is the fact that I've received a letter from a solicitor who acts for Nokia Corporation (TM) and Nokia Mobile Phones Limited (TM) ("Nokia (TM)"). The name "NOKIA (TM)" and "NOKIA Connecting People (TM)" are registered trademarks of the Nokia Corporation (TM) and therefor I may not use these names in 1) my site's URL (www.nokiainfo.f2s.com) and 2) pictures (e.g. the background I used). I have decided to completely stop B.B.'s Nokia (TM) Pages which I have run for 2,5 years. I never made a lot of money with my site, the sole goal was to help other people who are having problems with their Nokia (TM) mobile phones (e.g. to get NCDS working via IR) for FREE. Later I've added the popular blue LED's section; also to help people. I've put in a lot of time just helping people. I've given people SUPPORT which Nokia (TM) should have be given. I've made people enthusiastic about Nokia mobile phones. I've promoted the brand Nokia (TM). And what do I get for all my efforts? Legal actions if I continue the site..... The claim was also that I'd have unauthorized NOKIA (TM) software on my site. I think you all know I NEVER placed such software on my site. There are several hundred sites on the internet with illegal information about mobile phones (e.g. about unlocking/flashing) and Nokia (TM) just doesn't take actions against those sites. No, they pick my site with NO ILLEGAL content/software and just plain info. I really don't understand it and I really think it is just NOT FAIR.

P.S. I already know my next mobile phone won't be a Nokia (TM) :-). There are a lot of nice mobile phones who do NOT have a lot of bugs in them. Let's face it: I was able to make the software versions matrix only because the Nokia (TM) engineers keep making software versions with bugs in it....

After 2.5 years!!! i´ve visited that page many times and ever was a helpfull`page for Nokia phones info since long time ago, when Nokia phones wasn´t known as today.

How many people after take a look at this page, and others like this, don´t go after to purchase a Nokia phone¿?

I don't have any more info then I found on the web, because he is not answering my mails anymore... <br />The next step might be a closure of Marcin Wiaczek's web page ... well, this morning he posted a message on some yahoo group, i used that email.

Nokia can't stop as all, just use false information, and never give true information when register a site. If they close it, just open other! simple.

And i know that are people here in this forum that work on nokia... so please stop threatning people, we don't make any damage to nokia or any other manufacturer, just to operators <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

IMHO info we provide makes Nokia more popular (people dont want phones that have no tricks, hidden features etc. - they need the feeling they can 'crack' something, show off in front of friends, put a ***** women as a startup logo etc...)

IMHO all those things made Nokia No1, and if they think to stop it they will end up slike ****ty ericsson!

Also can you please tell me the main reason of the closure of the site, and wheather there was a law suit agaist you.
