Unhappy Nokia 3210 V6.00 Contact Service Repair?

phone switches on with 'insert sim card' then switches off/on with 'contact message;.

i was advised to read flash using dejan which created file flash.out and then to repair this file using nokia repairer by guar.

i attempted to use this program and open file flash.out and got error message 'wrong file selected'

can someone advise where i am going wrong and how i should go about continuing to fix this phone.

cheers.

kam

backup your phone 200-2e0, download a good flash file then flash it up, be sure that the no of bytes of both files are the same

you can try renaming the flash.out as a .bin file.
it might accept it that way

you won't need repairer by guar!! just read the same address from a good phone and flash it to your phone remenber same version!

Hi,

Just read add 00200000 to 002f0000 from a good phone on same version and flash in to your phone.that will be ok.

If you don't have the 2nd phone, you can use the 'full backup'(free on net)to flash it,but must be same MCU version and PPM pack.
if you still have problem mail me,i'll try to help you.

Good Luck
