8210 contact service - GSM-Forum

I have a 8210 that I flash with a v5.28 and the phone shows contact service. Try to laod virgin eeprom and the phone does not want to power on then flash it back and still contact service.Test with Eeprom tool shows mcu
-Eeprom interface test fail
-Eeprom tune checksum test fail.

Can anybody with what to do at this stage

I have the phone on now but the it restart when I push a nomber.
the FAID is updated and imei change but styll rebooting.

Please help

how have you fixed the eeprom tune checksum test failed problem? i have it also in my 8210..

Try a full flash (2-4) and then change IMEI number, unlock and update FAID, all should be fine after that.

Thanks first of all TRV and if you could help exactly what to do I will really appreciate it but I try to flash virgin eeprom and it was still the same.
