i also have a 3310 v4.06 which shuts down with the warning battery empty, this can happen in the middle of a call or on standby it doesnt matter, but i know the battery is full. recently it also won't connect to the network at all.
i read an article or a post (i cant remember which) on the club.nokia site saying that this is a problem with them and its a warranty repair so go to your local Nokia Service Centre (providing your fone is legitimate) and they will fix it.
which i did and they cant! (dickheads) it had to be sent back to nokia who quoted 10 working days. as components had to be replaced (still under warranty) BUT! now they get back to me and say that it will take a further 30 working days to repair as they cant get the parts for it (damn and here was me thinking that they made the fones how thik of me)
anybody know why they cant get the parts or if there is a problem or wot
i hope thta this helps you

HI
THE PROBLEM HERE IS THE PFO 8109B....REPLACING IT SHOULD 100% SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM......SUPRISING NOKIA DOESNT HAVE THE PARTS....MAYBE FEW SERVICE CENTERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO REPLACE COMPONENTS... ....THEY SWAP CIRCUT BOARDS.
