I have one idea how to unlock this version. I will test it this evening.

I need to collect as many different partials for this version as possible.

Currently, I have only this partial:

29DA2F: 38 -> 5A 29DE7F: 38 -> 16

If anyone has another partial, please post it to this forum and/or send it to me to [email protected].

Is it necessary to know the MAD2 assembly language to create an unlocking partial flash? Or, how to construct one?

someone unlocks 3330 v4.30 with 2 partials. why not to pacht new checksums wiht a second partials? One partial frees the phone, another repairs checksums.

That solution is not so interesting to me. IT IS NOT IMPORTANT TO ME TO HAVE THE MCU CHECKSUM CORRECT.

I Lead, I have some 3330 v.4.30 at home waiting for solution ! I can send you some partials flash, what are the adresses you need ???

And just one question, If I want to make 2 parts of 1 flash, suppose that the flash ad 4 megabytes, and i want to make 1 half from 0020000 to 0040000 ??? (is this correct ??? ) for the second part what sould I take as start adress ??? 004a0000 or 0040000 ???

I dont whant to loose data but I don´t want to duplicate some data in the two half parts of the flash !!!

So in 3330 what adress sould I put to get 1 flash whit ppm + 1 flash whit mcu + 1 flash whit eeprom ??? I don´t want to repeat some data in the 3 part of this complete flash, is like, if I had the word "message" and I want to split it in 3 part, I want to get "mes+sa+ge", and not "mes+ssa+age".

Thanks for your help, and tell me what part of the 3330 you need.

The range for the first part should be 200000-400000 and for the second it should be 400000-600000.

The MCU range is 200000-490000. The PPM range is 490000-550000. Then the PMM and EEPROM follow - you should not overwrite them.

I might be wrong, so please take care...

FINALLY, I HAVE ALSO FOUND THE SOLUTION!!!

Nobody sent me any useful info, so I decided to publish it later, in, say, three or four weeks.

Francis Donnel was right. Two partials are necessary... one to unlock and the second to correct the damned MCU checksum. Btw., doing only this does not suffice...

hi,

first of all congratulations, I also want to know how the get the hell out of it, let me ask you,

1.- I assume first partial unlock phone 2.- Now the problem is ppm checksum, so instread of fix checksum I will patch the checksum routine so allways it get ok where is located checksum?,
