Can no one give me a working solution to to problem of the phone turning itself on at the start of flashing. This is not a one off forme but is becoming an increasing problem and on various phone types.

if the phone powers on during flashing... its definitely a cable problem... check cable connections and the pins coonecting the phone to ur PC...

Hi Rorhmans, I cannot see how it is a cableproblem as it is not happening all the time. Also it is on various phone types. When I press enterto start the flash the phone powers up before i press the 'on' button!!!??

hi mate what your is the phone powers up when you conect it to the cable(i`m i right?)
if so some printer drivers cause this problem also a common on some laptops my tosh does the same !(something to do with printer port types)

the problem could also be the cable.
The 3210 uses power to start the phone without having to press power button! if one of the wires are damaged on the lead and you press unlock on the software, the unlocking box outputs a power on signal to the phone, if a wire is damaged the box will not detect the phone, it will just switch it on!
