not sure if u can change that with wintesla.

what do u mean by illegal fone? what is the proof of an illegal fone and not illegal fone?

your fone was just serviced by non nokia service center like most of us here.

its illegal in many parts of the world

hello

i too got some doubts regarding this. last week when i upgraded my phone from 3310 to 3315 all my purchase date, repaired, manufacture date showed ???? and yesterday i did upgrade another phone where those information where there intact.

so it there any options i can change those ???? and add some dates to tell people that this phone was serviced manually and nothing changed inside the board ?

try that's... ;)

i'm not an expert but....

U can edit your flash file with a HEX editor...

U can found these informations in EEPROM:

3D0146 : ProductID (Hex, bitinversed), 4 byte
3D015E : HW-Version 3407 (2 byte, swapped : 70 43)
3D016A : Productiondate (Made), 2 byte m/y
3D0B18 : Purchase Date, 2 byte
3D0B1A : Purchase Date available ? (80=yes, FF=no), 1 byte

LoL

ok... sorry for the fake... :-\

kOuBy2k1 09-30-2002 18:46

sorry... that's the good infos:

In MCU:

Product ID: 0x0001FC (not used)
HW-Version: 0x000217 (not used)
Production Date: 0x000204 (not used)

For the codes who are display on the phone after enter *#0000#, modify theses infos:

Also in MCU:

Product ID: 0x12B932
HW-Version: 0x12B932
Production Date: 0x12B93B

In the PPM:

Product ID: 0x140006 (not used)
HW-Version: 0x14001F (not used)
Production Date: 0x14000C (not used)

I think, for do a legal phone.... U will change all of them... because if someone read your flash file... He will find all codes...
